Fountain-Fort Carson High School Students Shine at FBLA National Leadership Conference

Congratulations to Fountain-Fort Carson High School students: Maya A., Scarlett G., Josef R., Raphael S., and Ella W. for representing our district at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas!

They joined over 16,000 peers from across the globe for a busy few days of business competitions, leadership workshops, and networking.

Maya, Scarlett, and Ella competed in the event Sales Presentation with their product idea named "Scarmella Boost", a healthy energy alternative for teens.  Competing in testing events were Josef in Cybersecurity and Raphael in Introduction to Information Technology.

Maya & Josef were also both voting delegates for our Mountain Plains Region at the conference.

Passing and coming back with certifications for their resumes were:

• Josef - ASK Concepts of Finance Certification
• Raphael- ASK Fundamentals of Business Concepts Certification, iCEV Southwest Airlines Communication Certification, and a digital badge in ASK Fundamentals of Ethics

While in Texas, they also had time to learn about San Antonio's culture and history.
