Attention Seniors!  The Fountain Valley Scholars Scholarship is due on January 23, 2026, at 3:30 PM to the Counseling Center! This is a great scholarship opportunity.  Also, there are many local scholarships open right now for students to apply for, check them out on the FFCHS Counseling Center’s Webpage under Senior Resources.

Attention Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in impacting people’s lives through a helping profession such as nursing, teaching, counseling, social work, or criminal justice and want to learn more about these professions?  Then stop by the Counseling Center to pick up a permission slip form to attend the Helping Professions Fair at UCCS. Slots are limited, so act fast.

 Apply to Be a Teacher Cadet for the 2026–2027 School Year!
Are you interested in working with kids, exploring a future in education, or developing real-world leadership skills? Then the Teacher Cadet Program is for you! We are now accepting applications for next year’s cohort.
To apply, you must: Be a junior or senior for the 2026–2027 school year.
Complete the Teacher Cadet application by Friday, February 13th.
Why join Teacher Cadets? Gain hands-on experience in classrooms, build communication, leadership, and professional skills.  Explore careers in education.  Earn up to 7 college credit hours through the program.  Make a meaningful impact on younger students in our community

NHS is hosting a blood drive on January 28th from 10-2 in the Trojan Arena! All staff and students over 16 are welcome to donate. Help save a life! Students who donate three times in a year also earn a cord for graduation. You can register online at donors.vitalant.org by using the blood drive code 6420. Students under 18 must pick up a permission slip from Ms. Caughfield in A246.

Attention students, for the foreseeable future, the weight room will be closed to all students not participating in sports.

Tutoring is on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s after school from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm.  This will begin on Tuesday 1/20/26.

Yearbooks are now on sale for $70. Buy yours today by going to Jostens.com or scan one of the QR codes on the posters in the hallway to buy yours today!

Attention Seniors- Want to submit a photo of your choice for the yearbook? Senior Portraits are due soon! The deadline to submit is January 31 - no photos will be accepted after this date! Scan the QR code on one of the flyers posted in the hallway, or you can find information on the school’s website under the Yearbook page. Email mgainey@ffc8.org if you have questions.

MFLC Cafe Meets every Wednesday.  IF you are a military child, please feel free to join us in the library on Wednesday’s during Blue and Red Lunch.
