Student Athletes of the Month April 2026

Congratulations to our April Student Athletes of the Month!

Olivia Canedy- Girls Tennis

The head tennis coach, Coach Pooley, had this to say about Olivia: "Olivia shines both on and off the court. She plays doubles on the tennis team and serves as a team captain. Off the court, she is creative and artistic, taking photographs and submitting her work to contests. As a leader, she has stepped up to encourage her teammates, fostering positivity and teamwork. Olivia is a kind and thoughtful student, admired by those around her."

Tucker Combs- JROTC Rifle

The head JROTC Rifle coach, SGM Smith, had this to say about Tucker, "This year Tucker has been an exceptional athlete. He has constantly performed at competitions form Colorado State to the National Championships. His performance this year and his most recent competition in Salt Lake City, Utah earned him the top1% of Junior Shooting Athletes in the nation his National Distinguished Award. He has contributed to the team's State Championship, U.S. Army National Service Championship and placed 3rd in the All-Service Nationals. Tucker is an exceptional student and in his spare time has started his own business based on the skills he has learned in the building trades program here in the High School. I highly recommend Tucker as the Student Athlete of

the Month."
