Track and Field

As a member of this team you are expected to be totally committed, loyal, and dedicated to making FFCHS Track and Field a first-class program that will serve as the standard for other schools to model and admire.  We expect you be an extremely disciplined individual who can be called upon in pressure situations when needed for the good of the team.  Our coaching staff is looking for both male and female leaders in all areas of our team.  Ideally we should have a leader for all major events we coach (distance runners, sprinters, throwers, jumpers, and hurdlers).  These leaders should display the following attributes; being an excellent role model, having a tremendous work ethic, a positive attitude, and displaying complete dedication/loyalty to the team.  The Track and Field season begins with approximately 120-170 individuals coming out, therefore several meets will be scheduled throughout the season.  You must be willing to put the team and your teammates first in order to maintain the great success and tradition the Trojans have had throughout our history.
